Dr Sarah Ahmad moved to Australia in 2018 with her family. She initially worked in a couple of public hospitals in Sydney, NSW as a resident in various fields and then as Principal House Officer in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. During this time, she completed her advanced diploma in women’s health. She decided to pursue training in general practice and re-located in Brisbane in 2022 and had the opportunity to work in a different specialties at the Ipswich Hospital. Finally, in 2023 she moved to Toowoomba to commence GP training which she completed in 2025. She worked across different areas in the Darling Downs region. Along with enjoying the varied aspects of general practice she has particular interest in women’s health, pregnancy care, paediatrics, skin conditions and chronic disease. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family, trying new recipes and gardening.
